Biography: |
| | Born in Belgium, educated in Slovakia where after receiving a Bachelor of Ed. in Geography and History I became a teacher. Because I loved Art, I often taught it.
After immigrating to Canada I was employed by Geogr. Dept. at the Univ. of Calgary as a photographer, cartographer and graphic artist for 22 years. A new profession opened for me new possibilities in Art. I took many art courses at U of C, which futher deepend my love and knowledge of Art.
Since I moved to S. Surrey I became a full-time painter. |

Artist's Statement: |
| | Painting activity transfers me into different world where, with the help of brush and paint, I try to put my feelings for particular subject on paper or canvas. Creating a new image with strong depth of field and pleasing color combinations, feels like a very good pay for hard work. I love those creative hours in my studio, and feel very privileged for having them. |
